Matic Kuder (1994) began his musical studies with his uncle Peter Kuder. He continued his education at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana with prof. Dušan Sodja. He began his formal studies at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and completed his master’s degree at the College of Music and Fine Arts in Graz in the class of prof. Gerald Pachinger.
From 2017 to 2021 he was a solo clarinetist in the Nürnberg Symphony Orchestra, and from December of the same year he became an e-flat clarinetist in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
He was also a member of the famous Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and has collaborated with many international orchestras such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Hr-Sinfonieorchester, Ensemble Mini, Spira Mirabilis, Orchestra Leonore, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Stadttheater Würzburg…
As a chamber musician, he has collaborates with many musicians, including Mate Bekavac, Sergio Azzolini, members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and others.
He has performed as a soloist with the Nürnberg Symphony Orchestra, the Euphony Orchestra, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber String Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and the SNG Ljubljana Symphony Orchestra.
He has studied with many renowned clarinetists such as Francois Benda, Wenzel Fuchs, Mate Bekavac, Harri Mäkki, Paolo Beltramini and Michel Lethiec.
