Tina Mauko (Slovenia), the acclaimed Slovenian pianist, composer, performer, improvisator. She graduated composition and the piano on the Academy of Music Ljubjana. She has many first prizes from the competitons and the Prešeren award for students.
As a composer, Tina has a great opus. Outstanding works are chamber opera, a lot of orchestral compositions, symphonic poem Ana Ahmatova in the russian language and Jewish Rhapsody in hebrew. She has many concerts in famous halls in Slovenia and abroad: Festival Ljubljana, Zagreb Biennale, the Sarajevo Winter Festival. Tina was a resident in Vienna. She also performs as a solo improvisator (Ljubljana Cankarjev Dom-). Author musical performance is her artistic construct and idea. In one person she must be a composer, pianist, improvisator and actor in her movie on the screen and live on a stage. These creations are completely unique.
